Honey is a natural medicine, one of nature’s miracle. Act as a delicious ingredient in many foods and has antibacterial properties, works as a humectant which it helps to attract moisture.


Cinnamon honey for overall wellness

Pour 1 cup of honey into the saucepan. Drop in the cinnamon sticks and push them down with a spoon to let them submerge into honey. On a medium low flame, heat the mixture for 10 minutes. Let them sit for approximately 2 hours or best for 1-2 weeks. You can also strain and store in a glass jar.

 

Lemon honey for colds

In a pan pour 1 cup of honey and 1 teaspoonful of freshly grated lemon peel. To boost the flavour add 2 slices of lemon. In a low medium flame, heat these altogether for 10 minutes. Burned honey does not taste bad, but it’s better to avoid it. After the mixture is heated, let it settle down for 1-2 hours or up to 1-2 weeks. You can also strain and store it in a glass jar.


Clove honey for sore stomach


In a pan pour 1 cup of honey and 1 teaspoonful of finely chopped ginger root. If you want, you can also add a small pinch of ground ginger. It gives a strong flavour to your mixture. Now on a low heat let the combination settle down for 10 minutes. When done with the heating, let it settle down for 2 hours or up to 2 weeks. You can also strain and store it in a glass jar. 


Cider honey for acid reflux

In a pan pour 1 cup of honey and 2-3 teaspoonful of apple cider vinegar. On a low medium flame heat the combination for about 10 minutes, do not forget to stir. When done with the heating, place it in a jar. It does not need to be settled like when heated with cinnamon or clove.
